Dear Teen Me

Hi! I’m proud to announce my first contribution to an anthology!

Edited by Dear Teen Me blog founders Miranda Kenneally and E. Kristin Anderson, the letters in DEAR TEEN ME cover a range of topics, including physical abuse, body issues, bullying, friendship, love, and enough insecurities to fill an auditorium.  So pick a page, and find out which of your favorite authors had a really bad first kiss? Who found true love at 18? Who wishes he’d had more fun in high school instead of studying so hard? Some authors write diary entries, some write letters, and a few graphic novelists turn their stories into visual art. And whether you hang out with the theater kids, the band geeks, the bad boys, the loners, the class presidents, the delinquents, the jocks, or the nerds, you’ll find friends–and a lot of familiar faces–in the course of DEAR TEEN ME.

I’m thrilled that my letter “Finding Him” (about not having a serious boyfriend until The Playwright) and my dorky senior picture will be included alongside those of amazing authors like Sara Zarr, Ellen Hopkins, Carrie Jones, and Lauren Oliver!

The book will be available Oct. 31, but if you want, you can pre-order it now at Amazon or BAM, or add it to your to-read shelf on Goodreads!

Hope everyone is having a marvelous weekend! I’m in PA hanging out with my parents and my sisters, fighting with the slow internet, eating entirely too many of my grandfather’s chocolate-chip cookies, and catching up on my REAL SIMPLE reading.
