The Meyer Meringue, Cirque A-Line, and Backswept Dresses from Anthropologie

I bought the Meyer Meringue and wore it last night to the opening of the CapFringe Festival, and it was perfect. So summery! I got several compliments. It has an adorable attached petticoat, but it’s still light enough to wear in the July heat, and it has pockets. I adore dresses with full skirts and pockets!

The Cirque doesn’t immediately look like my thing, aside from the yellow sash. Black and white? Boring. But if you look closer, the print is elephants. How cute and quirky is that?

And the Backswept…I don’t know if I could pull it off, but I love how adorably retro it is. I keep coming back to it. Maybe if it goes on sale?

What about you? Anything you’re coveting at the moment?

I have a CLOSET full of dresses. Love them! I have actually find quite a few cute ones (and reasonably price) at Kohls. Adore the yellow one you picked as well. Never heard of Anthropologie. Will have to check them out…just for the dresses because you can never have enough dresses!

  2. I wish I had a Kohls near me! I tend to do a lot of shopping online, since there are no malls in my immediate vicinity. Jill Coste turned me on to Anthro. They're a little pricey, but I think some of the dresses are totally splurge-worthy. I am a huge fan of dresses. In fact, now that I'm working from home I tend to be either cutely-dressed-up or in pajamas/sweats, no in-between!
